<description>I found your post through Rick Maurer&#039;s blog. It&#039;s wonderful. Thank you!

My reason for writing was to alert you to two recent books that support your comments. The first, Stories Trainers Tell, helps people find stories and craft them in a way that makes them more powerful. In addition, there are more than 75 stories in the book (permission already secured) that can be used to engender motivation and a change in behavior or attitude. F-r-e-e stories each month are available for use at http://www.sayitwithastory.com.

The second. Wake Me Up When the Data Is Over, offers 71 examples of story use in myriad business functions along with the tangible ROI for each of them: organizational change, leadership, communicating difficult issues, customer service, strategy, branding, and the like. It&#039;s truly the first of its kind to put together this many applications along with specific outcomes. There are many f-r-e-e articles on the topic of story work in organizations available at http://www.wakeupmycompany.com.

Thank you for allowing me to add to the conversation!

<description>Thanks for a fine post. My work is in change management and clients often want to make a case for change through statistics and endless PowerPoint bullets. The study offers a wonderful antidote.

BTW, I mentioned your post in my blog this morning.
